1987 Capri 2.0 Laser

I found this car in a garage untouched for about 10 years as original owner had died leaving it for someone to revive. When I went to collect car we put a good battery on cleaned ignition points and drove her onto the trailer!

Only needed recommissioning really had a few age related marks and dings, mechanical restoration took place over the next few weeks, as this car was intended for my wife we decided to fit power steering with a full set up off a seirra using a rack from a 2.8 injection. My wife used the car as a daily driver for around 3 years then came our first child together so the decision was made to sell. Anyway she went to a kings lynn capri club member so we would see her again. Car then changed hands a few more times until I was contacted again regarding the power steering conversion. Now she was way down south. Cut a long story short a deal was made and we were to buy her back! I managed to get car picked up and brought back to Norfolk without my wife knowing and gave it back to her for our wedding anniversary 14 years later.

So then these 2 cars were reunited and will remain together from now on. There is a bit more work needed on the laser now but it will get the full treatment over the next few years.
